Sup, nerds. Wanna buy some software on floppy disks? Of course you do. That's why I'm selling msync, my command line mastodon client, on floppies! I have builds for Linux, OSX, and Windows ready to ship.
And if floppies aren't your thing, I have these lovely Office of Consensus Maintenance stickers, too.
I accept orders by internet, fax, and mail.
Ayy, look at that, a fresh msync release to go on those floppies. Who would have thought I'd made this happen? https://github.com/Kansattica/msync/releases/tag/v0.9.9.6
@amsomniac Afraid not- I only offer builds where I can get CI machines for it- but each floppy comes with the source code if you're willing to try building it yourself.
@BestGirlGrace Oh this is cool
I mean I wouldn't be able to do anything with it because I don't have anything that can read floppy disks but I still think it is cool
@socks I'll be honest, I'm relying on most of my sales to be from people who want to have the cool floppy disk instead of actually using it to get the software.
@bunny_jane you may wind up having to compile from source, but that shouldn't be too onerous if it comes to that.
@BestGirlGrace The best part about this to me is the acceptance of orders via fax in 2021. Godspeed you crazy diamond.
@BestGirlGrace this post and reading up on msync and trying it out are making me nostalgic for the times i would settle in to the local barnes & noble with the latest copy of 2600 so thank you for that it's super cool and neat
Don't let the name fool you. All the pornography here is legal, and much of it is hand-written. No fascists, no bigots.
