SPECTRE is a vulnerability that occurs when the CPU detects a ghost tree instead of a real one
@BestGirlGrace As opposed to the DRM feature that prevents unauthorized playing of James Bond movies
@rockario "Funny, Mr. Bond, I thought you'd die in the MELTDOWN."
@BestGirlGrace I don't know what that is, but by context I assume it is another CPU vulnerability
@rockario yeah, Specter and Meltdown happened at the same time and often get bundled together. I think they're both similar kinds of speculative execution exploits.
@BestGirlGrace that's why I just tell my CPU to sit back, relax, and stop fretting so badly about what the future could be
@doubleDensity hey, computer. put your feet up and keep those pipelines clear. take a load off
Don't let the name fool you. All the pornography here is legal, and much of it is hand-written. No fascists, no bigots.
